George is a Chartered Banker with the Chartered Institute of Bankers Scotland and also holds an MBA from Bangor University UK. He holds a first degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Malawi. He has 16 years’ experience in Credit Risk Management, involving the development, assessment, and management of credit portfolios from inception to full recovery.

George has ten years’ experience at senior management level in private sector banking having worked with several Banks on the local market. In these roles role George has had hands on experience with the energy sector through interactions- with all the major fuel importing and trading entities for funding and development of financial models for the energy sector.

For the past two years, George has led the business growth of AIC Oils as Managing Director, having initiated various stakeholder relationships, mainly with regulatory authorities, buyers, suppliers and other potential key off takers. George has coordinated the strategy development and implementation, stakeholder relations and provided leadership to the AIC Oils team resulting in positive growth in the two years of the company’s operations.
